Sites You Should Visit {Creative Drainage}

For this Creative Drainage edition I’ve decided to share a few of my favorite sites. These are your one-stop shops for everything creative – from inspiration and color to art and jealousy.

UNO: HILDA GRAHNAT, “Freelance photographer, graphic design student & flea market addict based in Malmö, Sweden”. Like anything that comes from Sweden, this blog is minimalist and beautiful.

DOS: ART HOUND, “a blog about living with good art” – with succulent pieces from various artists. Such a treat.

TRES: THE JEALOUS CURATOR “There is one moment, in the first few seconds, when you look at a piece of art and know that you love it. It’s the moment when, if you’re an artist yourself, you look at it and feel a rush of uplifting inspiration… and total soul-crushing jealousy all at the same time. It’s when you walk away thinking, “Damn, I wish I thought of that.”” – Really, do I need to say more?  this blog is dang good and reading it makes me so jealous – jealous of the jealousy of the jealous curator jealous…wait…that doesn’t make sense anymore.

CUATRO: MAMMOTH , “THE MAMMOTH COLLECTION is the brainchild of Ben and Troy, two friends and creative co-conspirators (we’re both photographers) based out of Victoria, BC, on Canada’s west coast” – one of my favorite FAVORITE favorite sites, did I say favorite?

CINCO: TSA “TSA was created to attract and share strange and exceptional art from around the world” – They also have some awesome creative Resources with links to magazines, publishers, shops, etc.

OH! and I am super stoked that I’m 99% done with my Art Challenge #2, all I have to do is scan the pics and put them up. Yeeahaw.  You should join me on my creative crusade and find out how awesome you can be, really , it’s all about pushing your limits and finding your true talent. And hey, you may not create the next Mona Lisa – but you will have loads of fun {including making fun of yourself} and make some friends on the way. You’re in?
