post for artful nature lovers – flower constructions by Anne Ten Donkelaar

As I am sitting down watching Hiema by Sigur Rós and getting all teary eyed with the amazing landscapes and music in this film – I found this on Booooom; the art of Anne Ten Donkelaar…and then my brain just melted.

At first – I thought she just took pretty flowers and arranged them nicely, but then I realized they were all collages. Holy.Shit. So pretty, so clean, so beautiful! Anne’s pieces are my mother’s (who’s somewhat of a hippie Biologist obsessed with keeping pretty plants between book pages ) artful dreams come true – and mine, and hundreds of others. Bravo Anne!
