pascuala lira

Pascuala Lira – a Chilean artist that loves soft tones and uncomplicated subjects. She also loves creating beautiful paintings on wood pieces – also called Maderas – like the one above. Her art feels so homey, doesn’t it? It makes me want to sip mate and relax by the fire (yeah, it’s still winter in Vancouver).

Great work Pascuala! Thanks for submitting it to the blog.

i really adore that top piece, and something about the figure in the bathing suit, with her back to us is mesmerizing. it’s the realness and how calm and subtle it is.

    lovely entry today!
