January 26, 2012 / artful inspiration

paper works by Sarah Bridgland

While attempting to multitask – chugging my lunch, answering emails, texting and instagraming – I discovered the work of Sarah Brigland; a half paper goddess half vintage ephemera queen.

Needless to say I nearly chocked at the sight of her collages. My oh my, I am salivating over these  intricate artful pieces – the myriad of colors and shapes is giving me a crack-induced craft attack.

I suggest you dive into your granny’s Sears catalogs and look for inspiration – you never know – a good pair of acid washed mom jeans might brighten your creative path, right?
