House for mother is a project by Swedish architecture studio Förstberg Arkitektur & Formgiving. The house is divided in two volumes – that’s right, not two sections or two parts because that’s like so last century – two volumes that are very similar but have different features.

All the light and soft colours in this house are giving me a serious case of house envy. I just finished spring cleaning my apartment and I thought I finally made it look somewhat decent..now that I see this house I feel like I live in a hamster cage ha! Oh well, the grass is always greener…

More house envy and other awesome projects by Arkitektur & Formgiving over here.

This house is the absolute best. I’m in the process of building a house at the moment with my other half, and it has been at the top of our inspiration list for the past week – love love love!

OHHH that’s so awesome, if you make one like this, I’ll have to come over for coffee ;)
