dear photograph

Oh hey there!

Since I am in the process of putting together the Artful City Walks  blog project, I thought this post would suit the mood. Today I’m going to share with you something fantastic – Dear Photograph – “digital nostalgia of the highest order”.

The project  – created by 22 year old Taylor Jones – brings the past to the present. Such a simple yet powerful concept, yah? Just take an old picture and hold it in front of a digital camera and see the magic unfold. It’s almost as if all these happy memories came rushing in right when you snap the picture.

Taylor’s project has been so successful that he already has a book coming out! Wowza…talk about going viral and going strong. If you have some cool pics of the old days, you should give it a try and send your submission!

Tell me, do you know of other cool community projects happening? If you do, leave them on the comments below.

Of all the many things I have seen you post in the past several months, this BY FAR is my favorite! I’m gonna rush home and try to do this one myself… :)
