Creativity Found In Iconatomy

George Chamoun – a 26 year old Jewelry Art student from Stockholm – has the gift of merging current and past celebrities creating new hybrids of awesome.

A few words about the project taken from his Tumblr:

I chose to work with movie icons from two different eras. This project has been a lot about ideals, patterns and anatomy. I named the project Iconatomy from the words “icon” and “anatomy.”

He also has this disclaimer:

People are commenting on the “comparison” I’m making with these pictures. About that, I just want to say that I am not comparing anything here. Sorry if you feel that your favourite actor or actress was “paired up” with someone you don’t like.

I am thinking some crazy cat-lady in her Costo pajamas (I swear it wasn’t me) sent him hate mail for pairing George Clooney with who seems to be Sean Connery.

George Chamoun, don’t listen to any crazy “you must cease and desist” crazy cat talk –  you truly scored extra cool points with this project!

Wow. That really is neat. Don’t you hate those moments where you sit there and have to ask yourself, “Dammit! Why didn’t I think of that??”
