Creativity Found In Faceless Characters

Alright. This one’s a bit eerie.

Alessandro Pagani creates these rather puzzling paintings – which now that I can’t sleep – seem a little bit frightful as I have had weird dreams of weird people doing weird things in my head.

What do you think? Are these just paintings of people with no faces or are these people “wearing masks” made by their dark feelings? For example: the guy being taken by the other dudes (the last one), even thought I can’t see his face clearly – the colors and few expressions denote anger and great fear.

So, what do you see? Oh and also, if you have any good remedies for insomnia, please, pass them on or my face will start to look like these guys!
