Artful Travels: Lighthouse Park

Lighthouse Park West Vancouver Photo by Tomasz Wagner

Hey fellas! Happy Monday.

Did you take part in the international instagram meetup weekend? Saw LOTS of folks out and about exploring their city and the wilderness. So jealous! And so bummed I couldn’t make it. That being said, I am planning an outting with some friends to make up for it. A couple of them are part of this post – Mr. Tomasz Wagner (ACE of the lens and maker of the photos on this post) and Mr Emanuel Smedbøl (ACE of the beard and instagram) – together we all explored a little bit of the Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver a couple weeks ago.

If you happen to hit the West Coast you should DEFINITELY add this hike to your itinerary. I know sometimes the word “hike” sounds daunting, but this is an easy one! Plus you can access the park by bus, car, of even bike (providing that you have hulk legs, ’cause it’s hilly around there).

Pack a few snacks, bring a cozy sweater, a camera, and let nature guide you!

There are lots of cliffs (easy to climb) and tidal pools where you can take THE BEST selfies or “puddlegrams”. This map shows you all the accessible areas and routes to explore.

It just felt good to leave the city for a bit, no email, no computer, no set schedule. I’ll – for sure – have more of these adventures coming to the blog so you can use them as a little guide for your Artful Travels of exploration!

You definitely should! It’s just a few minutes away and it’s so worth it (such a nice break from the city!)

Thanks for putting this blog together, Gabe! Really enjoy seeing photos published and printed with a story attached, compared to just being on the computer!

    Cheers,
    Tomasz
