This German artist has a portfolio that’s full of these impressive paintings. All with a little touch of raunch and a bit of grit, very subtle grit, enough to make his subject looks more real.

this is amazing. in the first one you can see that he painted teensy tiny hairs on the lady’s nose and chin.
in high school art class we actually spoke to a performance artist that did something similar. she would make video of tons of honey or cream or some other food getting poured on her face. kind of like this but she had to drink a lot it and it was a commentary on gluttony. apparently cream was the grossest and she was immediately sick after the performance. oh, art.

These are absolutely nuts! The details on all of the lips is absolutely insane, I can’t believe it’s all paint, these are SO cool. At the end of a long day I’m usually covered with cookie crumbs, does that count as art too?
